Let’s Be Straight With You
Trusted Brands is built on one thing: honesty. So before you read another word on this site, here’s something you deserve to know upfront.
Some of the links on this website make us money. Not a lot. Not enough to compromise what we write. But enough to keep this platform running — and we think you should know about it.
Here’s exactly how it works.
What Affiliate Links Are
When we recommend a brand or product and link to it, that link sometimes contains a tracking code. If you click it and make a purchase, the retailer pays us a small commission. The price you pay stays exactly the same — the commission comes out of the retailer’s margin, not your pocket.
That’s it. No hidden fees. No inflated prices. No tricks.
Who We Work With
Trusted Brands participates in affiliate programs run by reputable networks and companies. These may include:
- Amazon Associates Program — As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases made through links to Amazon.com
- Commission Junction (CJ Affiliate)
- ShareASale
- Impact
- Other brand-specific affiliate programs
We only work with programs tied to brands and retailers we consider credible. Being part of an affiliate program does not guarantee coverage or a positive review on this site — those decisions are made independently by our editorial team.
Does This Affect What We Write?
No. And here’s why we’re confident saying that.
Our editorial process starts before we ever think about affiliate programs. We identify brands worth covering based on reader interest, category relevance, and our own research standards. Whether a brand has an affiliate program or not has zero bearing on whether we write about it, how we evaluate it, or what verdict we reach.
We have covered brands with no affiliate program at all. We have written critical assessments of brands that do have one. The commission never enters the conversation when we’re deciding what to say about a brand.
If a brand doesn’t hold up — we say so. If it does — we say that too. The affiliate link is just how we get paid when our recommendation leads to a purchase. It is not the reason we made the recommendation.
FTC Compliance
The Federal Trade Commission requires websites to clearly disclose material connections to brands and retailers — including affiliate relationships. We take that requirement seriously.
This page serves as our site-wide disclosure. Articles that contain affiliate links also carry a disclosure notice at the top of the page so you always know where you stand before you read.

Amazon Associates Disclosure
Trusted Brands is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program — an affiliate advertising program that allows sites to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com.
Amazon and the Amazon logo are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates.
Our Policy on Sponsored Content
Trusted Brands does not publish sponsored posts, paid brand features, or commissioned reviews. No brand has ever paid to appear on this site — and no brand ever will.
Every piece of content on Trusted Brands is produced independently. If that policy ever changes, any sponsored content will be labeled clearly and prominently. You will always know the difference.
Product Samples
Occasionally a brand may offer a product sample or review unit for evaluation. If that happens, it will be disclosed within the relevant article. Receiving a sample does not buy a positive review — our evaluation standards do not change based on how a product was obtained.
Prices & Availability
Prices and product availability referenced on Trusted Brands are accurate at the time of writing but can change at any time. Always check the retailer’s website directly for current pricing before making a purchase. We are not responsible for discrepancies between prices listed on our site and prices shown at checkout.
Still Have Questions?
If you want to know more about how we handle affiliate relationships or have a specific question about a recommendation, we are happy to talk about it. Reach out through our Contact Us page.
We built Trusted Brands on transparency. This page is proof of that.
